Will coughed, bringing the thermos away from his lips. “That’s—that’s great, Mike.”
“Yeah,” Mike nodded, “It felt right.”
Will hummed, busying himself with the backpack. “Great,” he replied softly. “I’m glad you’re happy, Mike.”
“I think she was my Tammy.”
Will’s eyes widened until he felt like they were going to pop out of his head. He slowly turned towards Mike whose eyes were fixed on the obscured horizon.“Mike,” he said slowly. “What are you talking about?”
