Their lips met, and the darkness in Nicolas’s heart dissipated.
Their kisses… oh, how he loved them! How he craved Lestat's mouth! They made him feel precious and desirable as if that simple billing and cooing granted him eternal salvation.
He lost his worldly identity and ascended to heaven, feeling so blissful that he almost forgot he hadn’t yet died and gone to the afterlife.
