Shoji Yamamoto is going to kill himself on his 30th birthday.
As summer approaches so does a reckoning. Shoji, a police officer in Tokyo, stands on the brink of despair. Yet before he can combat the growing darkness looming over him, he must first confront a crisis gripping Japan. A surge in meth trade sweeping through Tokyo and Shibuya entangles him into a dangerous web of crime. To combat this he reluctantly teams up with an old acquaintance behind his teams back, who also happens to be involved in the exact trafficking he's trying to stop.
