Summary
Payakan would be left alone, truly alone. Without the one soul who actually understood him. His spirit brother.
His sisters would be completely brotherless, with no one to protect while mom and dad were away.
Tsireya, having yet to fully understand Lo’ak, would mourn a loss she wishes she could’ve prevented. If only she knew how.
His mother would cry for days, more than she already has been with the loss of her eldest.
His father… his father would feel guilt. All the guilt Eywa has to offer. He would sit in his sorrows until they consumed him completely.
But Neteyam.
He would finally join Neteyam in the spirit world, and that’s worth it in Lo’aks eyes.
Or
Lo’ak gets shunned, wrongfully blamed, and he truly believes that what happened to Neteyam really was his fault. This leads him to a dark path. A dark and sandy one, more specifically.

"I want you to keep an eye on Phenomaman, yes. He needs…confidence. A friend, really. Kind of like you do. I think you could be a good pair. I'm not asking you to be in a relationship with him. I'm just—fuck, I think he just needs a more immediate thing to care for and protect until he can pull himself together enough to take care of himself. And if he starts advocating for you, or the team starts seeing how much improvement he makes by having nice, HR compliant interactions with an Omega—" Robert snarls, swearing. "Shit, sorry that's—that's not fucking HR compliant, and it's fucking a huge ask, and totally inappropriate, and I'm sorry—"
"I'll do it."
Or, Waterboy agrees to help keep an eye on Phenomaman and learns a little about himself (and being a hero) in the process.

Summary
“Okay, Wetboy. Time to save a forest.”
Flambae gripped the straps and ignited, flames roaring over his body as he pushed off the ground.
Waterboy gasped as the ground dropped away, the violent jostle sloshing the liquid inside him so hard it nearly broke him.Flambae glanced down to check on him. Waterboy forced a shaky thumbs-up, his face pale and shining with sweat. He was balancing on every edge possible — his seat, his sanity, his body’s thinning tolerance. Another brutal surge hit, and Waterboy squeezing his thighs, willing the flood inside him back long enough for him to release his full power at the right time.

As wildfires burn through the forest and rage through LA, Flambae and Waterboy are sent where almost no other heroes can make it - into the thick of the fires. Waterboy knows this may be the most important mission of his life, one that demands more from him than his body was ever meant to give. He gambles everything on a secret ability he never intended to reveal… even if it means breaking himself to save the city.

Cassandra holds back a grimace as the girl is shoved harshly onto her stomach. The man- her "owner", Cassandra assumes, wraps a hand around her neck. Within seconds, the girl falls near lifelessly, though her eyes are still wide open. While she doesn't move, Cassandra can spot her teary eyed stare as she seems to zone out and goes glassy eyed. Cassandra normally doesn't get involved in Pit Fighter deals... But she can't leave a child in a place like this.
OR
After wandering into the wrong part of Piltover, Cassandra is disgusted and mortified to see the slave trade alive and thriving. So she makes sure that one less child is a victim of it. Unfortunately for Cassandra, it seems she has to teach the girl how to live.
