Summary
Six months after Vi's life falls apart, Jinx goes to check on her sister and finds her in a bad place. Out of some sense of loyalty and love, she invites Vi on a trip to Viktor's cult without reason - but when they start traveling, she notices Vi muttering to herself and flinching at nothing. As time goes on, Jinx watches Vi slip off the deep end and lose her mind, talking to thin air, constantly disoriented and confused, hitting and hurting herself when upset, and refusing to eat, drink, or sleep, and she decides to take Vi back to Zaun and a familiar environment in the hopes of bringing her back to normal. On the way back, Caitlyn shows up, her men having alerted her that something was wrong with Vi, and (after a brief catfight with Jinx) takes her back to the Kiramman home for treatment, where she and Jinx (mostly) set aside their differences and work together trying to bring Vi back to normal. Despite relationship tension between all three of them, Isha the only one who's not involved in some kind of argument, things start going better as all of them slowly mend their relationships and mental states.
And then they figure out that Vi's pregnant.

Summary
After mentioning that she wants to be an Enforcer over dinner, Caitlyn is transferred from the Junior Academy to Zaun's only school to discourage her from choosing that path. During her first day, a girl named Vi begrudgingly helps Caitlyn and allows her to sit with her and her siblings, and Caitlyn develops an interest in being their friend (and... maybe (definitely) also develops a tiny (massive) crush on Vi). Despite their reservations, they accept her into their little group, and she fights to be a full part of the crew, through both high school and heists.
(Basically, Vi, Mylo, Claggor, Powder, and Caitlyn at the age they were in S1: Act 1 in high school in Zaun, featuring Caitlyn and Vi having an adorable teenage romance, Vander's kids trying to make Caitlyn into an anti-establishment delinquent (it mostly works), Vander ending up with another kid constantly hanging out in his basement, and the six of them (including Ekko) being chaotic teenagers/kids trying to find their way among a steampunk borderline-dystopia, high school, and their constant shenanigans that happen as a result of them all being chaotic little gremlins plus terminal illness and class war.)

Reliant on drugs and booze, Vi was spiraling out of control. Worst of all, she was a mom and trying to raise her baby girl, Indigo, with her ex wife, Caitlyn. The two were once deeply in love, until Vi allowed fame and addiction to take over her life. Now, they only saw each other for the sake of their daughter. And Caitlyn knows Vi better than anybody. She can see Vi slowly falling apart, becoming a ticking time bomb each and every night she went out to go and party after her shows.
But the thing about bombs... they have to explode sometime. And Vi was bound to explode in the worst way possible. -

Vi fiddled with the key to her room with rain-slicked and cold-numbed fingers, jamming it against the wood somewhere between three and six times before it found the lock, clicking the door open far too gently. She thought about slamming the door against the wall for a split second, the urge itching against her knuckles, but then came *her* voice, and Vi's hand fell to her side.
“Good grief, Violet,” Caitlyn’s eyes were wide, their blue painting a pretty picture against the moonlight pale of her skin. Vi’s mouth tugged up, just a little, at the ever-so-familiar inflection of the words. Before she could even register it, Caitlyn was across the room, taking her face in her hands and pushing back the dark hair plastered to her forehead, examining her with that little furrow between her brows that Vi could trace in her sleep. Her voice came out in a huff that was hardly angry. “You must stop doing this to yourself. And- is that a cut? What happened?”

Summary
After Caitlyn meddles with an investigation into 'Firelight' activity on yet another cargo ship, the lovely Deputy Marcus fires Kiramman and she spends her time angrily learning how to play the piano. To her surprise, she quickly becomes an intuitive talent, and a year later, she begins to play for fame and fortune as Matilda Kareem. Fresh out of Stillwater the same year Matilda becomes famous, thanks to the rehabilitation program designed by Council members Shoola and Heimerdinger, Vi heads straight to pit-fighting, spending every spare moment looking for Powder. However, no one seems to know who Powder is, and this causes Vi to spiral.
Combined with the shock of being back in the Undercity and struggling to believe Powder might still be alive, Vi hits rock bottom and wastes months at the bottom of a mug. After running into Gurt at the shimmer-powered Last Drop, Vi takes a brief hiatus from pit-fighting to launch a formal investigation of her own.
In the quiet, Vi reluctantly finds another job to supply steady bribe money for her search. Two thoughts plague her mind as she adapts to this new change: Where is Powder? And who the fuck is Matilda Kareem?

She tapped Powder on the nose, getting a reluctant wave-off as Powder hung onto the hammock and her words. "And Vi, stands for Victory! Get out of here, bad guys. You ain't gettin' my sis while I'm around." Violet put her hands on her hips, and then mimed a heroic cape behind her. Powder gave out a soft giggle, and added the final touch.
"Swhishshwish." Ah yes, the dramatic wind.

Two hours ago she'd been in her trailer doing lines with some producer whose name she'd already forgotten, her hand too high on her thigh, her phone buzzing with angry texts from Dad that she'd ignored. One hour ago she'd popped two pills that were supposed to be Adderall but definitely weren't, washed them down with champagne in the back of an Uber, and told herself she'd just make a quick appearance before going home to crash.
