All she needs are a few dozen Hextech gems. When an ally brings word of a potential target with numerous gems, she has to decide whether to go through with her plan or to continue helping Martin.
As multiple forces rise against her seeking vengeance, she has a run in with someone from her past, who throws her entire life into turmoil again.

Looking back, Vi supposes that she should have known that she couldn’t have possibly been able to anticipate every challenge that harboring Jinx in her apartment would bring. She should have known that merely providing her with a safe place to lay her head, regular meals, and the presence of her older sister who would bend over backwards for her wouldn’t be enough.
(Her heart pangs when she remembers Powder; anything Vi could have provided was enough for her. But too much had happened and too many years apart had given way to an unfamiliar inability to know exactly what her sister needed at any given time.)

Summary
The bridge to Piltover was empty, the Enforcers and their blockade long since gone and abandoned, bigger things taking precedent. The silence wouldn’t last long she knew, not on the bridge they were standing on, and certainly not in the Lanes. Still, Vi was grateful for the silence, no one needed to be witness to the two of them limping their way across the river, no one had a right to see the heartbreak on their faces.

Post the finale, becuase I think we all need some healing time after that, not just Cait and Vi.

Three years after Jinx's fatal attack on the Council, the city of Zaun is in worse straits than ever. Struck with a suffocating embargo and with its citizens and merchants terrorized by a brutal new gang lord, the city is desperate for something, anything to change.
Martin, a young Zaunite thief, goes on a heist to steal a shipment of Hextech, only to have it all go wrong at the hands of Jinx, who has returned to her old stomping grounds after several years of absence. When Caitlyn and Vi of the Enforcers go to investigate the wreckage, they soon learn that not all is what it seems within the ranks of the Enforcers, and Vi becomes desperate to try to reconnect with Jinx after their last meeting turned into a nearly fatal fight.
As Jinx and Martin start to team up to perform ever more daring robberies, they begin running afoul of the various factions in the two cities, incurring the wrath of ever-more-powerful enemies. Their partnership soon becomes to a struggle for survival.

Caitlyn was told to never go after her soulmate unless they were rich. And after the second year of hearing her soulmate drunk and telling stories she couldn't finish, she realised her mother wouldn't approve. She would have to fight, even though they didn't seem to want her. Until one year, they ask her to find them.
