They walked for what felt like an eternity. The soles of her feet were sore when she finally heard hushed voices down the corridor. At the sounds of her guards’ approach, they quieted. A door creaked open; it was wooden. She could tell by the sound of it scratching on the stone floor.
An odd assortment of smells assaulted her nose. Blood. Fire. Smoke. Wax.
“Don't tell me this is your sex dungeon."
Another smack. That one felt deserved. Someone that wasn't one of her guards stifled a giggle with a snort.
Or a Selûnite Tav meets Shadowheart when there are no tadpoles involved. No illithids, no Grand Design. Just Tav and Shady being idiots. Chaos ensues. Rating is to be on the safe side. Each chapter will be tagged if there is anything worth tagging (torture, smut, etc). Will probably add tags as story progresses.

Her holster contrasts against the white of her shirt, and Lena traces the dark leather up against her chest, her eyes zeroing in on the splatters of blood that darken the collar.
OR Bodyguard AU where, at Jess's behest, Lena hires Argo Protection Services when there's an attempt on her life and Kara becomes her personal bodyguard, and maybe something more.

Summary
When Vi saw her, it was like a punch right to the gut. The woman was flawless, she was perfect. Something about her made it a bit too overwhelming to look at her, so Vi let her gaze wander. She observed the other patrons of the establishment. None of them seemed to be in a hurry to make a move. The relief she felt at that was almost crushing in its intensity. She shouldn’t be that invested after only just discovering her.
