Summary
On the fateful night of Halloween 1981, twins Dan and Harry Potter are attacked, while their parents are stunned and left helpless. Voldemort is destroyed, and Dan Potter is thought to be the Boy Who Lived, while the results of a magical test cause everyone to believe Harry is a squib.
Wanting to protect Harry from Death Eaters and the discrimination they've seen many squibs face, Lily and James send Harry to the Dursleys, believing they'd care for and love a "normal" child.
However, Harry is far from normal, and his life is far rougher than the life his parents planned for him. But when six other lonely children enter his world; a friendly, constantly curious boa constrictor with eyelids that's treated as a freak of nature, a bullied redhead, a shy brunette boy mistreated by his family, a Muggleborn girl determined to prove herself in a world that seems to fight against her, a motherless girl shunned for being too "odd," and a blond pureblood determined to abandon his father's path and follow his own, his life begins to change for the better.
But will this band of misfits be enough to stop the oncoming darkness?
