“Lena, actually,” says the gorgeous creature. Whose name is apparently Lena. To whom Kara has not responded in any way other than to stand there like an absolute doofus with her belt unfastened.
Cool. Fine. That’s cool and fine.
Or Kara is a flight attendant and Lena is a pilot and they fuck.

Even if it means we will have to forego Franju’s majestic work” Enid could almost hear Wednesday sigh but had suddenly gotten very distracted when the other girl had mentioned her flight.
Pulling her phone from her pocket she quickly started scrolling through the few text messages she’d exchanged with her mother before abandoning it and instead frantically refreshing her email hoping she’d just missed one.
“I... I think my parents forgot to book me a ticket” Enid mumbled after going through her inbox three times in some vague hope that it ahd gotten misplaced
At that Wednesday finally turned around. The look on her face unreadable “your parents have done what?” she said, sounding as surprised as Enid had ever heard her “does that mean they’re coming to collect you instead?”
“I... I don’t know” Enid said turning towards the door to their room “I’ll just have to...” Enid didn’t complete her sentence but just gestured towards her phone before opening the door and leaving Wednesday looking after still looking even more stone faced than usual.
