Summary
In a reality where vampires and humans coexist, Kim Dokja lives alone in a cabin in the middle of the forest. To stay alive, he hides what he is, but his secret is threatened when he meets Yoo Joonghyuk, a vampire hunter determined to find the “first vampire” in the world, suspecting that he is that vampire that many say is a myth. However, as he approaches Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk begins to realize that the mysterious vampire is different from what he imagined.
Between suspicions and revelations, the two become involved in a complex relationship that challenges their beliefs and loyalties, giving rise to a completely new feeling.

“Dokja-unnie.” Yoo Joonghyuk’s smooth voice breaks Kim Dokja out of her trance, and the warm feeling of her fangs graze the back of Kim Dokja’s neck, tongue flicking against her soft skin. Yoo Joonghyuk sighs at the taste, “Dokja-unnie, I want to rewrite their scents on your skin with mine.”
“You…” Those words send a shiver down Kim Dokja’s spine, “You’re that hungry, huh? You rarely say these kinds of things to me.”
“I’m hungry for you, Dokja-unnie.” Yoo Joonghyuk murmurs, and her fangs pierce through Kim Dokja’s skin, but she doesn’t drink it all up just yet. Instead, she begins to leave little bite marks and nibbles around her shoulder and neck, which makes Kim Dokja more and more aroused.
“Joonghyuk-ah,” Kim Dokja calls, finally placing her chopsticks down and pushing away her empty bowl. She unconsciously rubs her thighs together as she brushes a part of her hair behind her ear, exposing her neck and shoulders a bit more, “Eat up.”

He didn't quite plan to throw that idiot onto the bed, but what can he say? He's in a rush and Kim Dokja is still uselessly struggling in his arms and when that almost causes him to stumble and for them to fall onto the mattress more roughly than he had intended, all he can really do is blame it on Kim Dokja.
Underneath him, Yoo Joonghyuk hears laughter. And when he glares at Kim Dokja, caught between Yoo Joonghyuks arms, a sight he's sure he will be thinking about for a while, all he gets in return is an amused grin.
"That was not very elegant."
"Don't be annoying, Kim Dokja."

“The bloody Cat King. I thought we were done with that prick once we left Port Townsend,” Charles grumbled.
“I know,” Edwin sighed wearily, as this was the third variation of the same rant in the last twenty minutes. "And I know you will never be fond of him, but he is fond of me, and I am almost certain we can ask him for information without him wanting to extract too troublesome a toll.”
“Fine,” Charles huffed irritably. “But I’m coming with you.”
“Of course,” Edwin smiled fondly. “I wouldn’t dream of trying to convince you otherwise.”
