Tyrion sits up on the bed, runs a hand through his hair. Sometimes he feels like shaking her shoulders and screaming at her simply to evoke some kind of reaction and make sure there’s a human being there.
The only moments she feels human is while they’re fucking. The rest of the time, since her brother and mother died, she looks and sounds like a ghost or a corpse — which, Tyrion suspects, is the main reason why she wants to fuck him at all. Not that he asked; he is not a fool. And not that she would answer, if he ever did.

Tyrion flinches. Drinks. “This is the best I can do,” he says. Stares at her, eyes warm and tender with the pull of desire. “And you’re speaking treason, love.”
“I thought Daenerys couldn’t have children,” Sansa says. Those are muddy waters; a dangerous road to walk by, but she can’t help but poke at the beast. “Who is going to be her heir when she dies? Why not Shireen? They’re blood-related.”
But Tyrion has been doing this for longer than she has. He grins again. Sansa wants to bite it off his face.
“How often do you think about the death of the Queen, my Lady Hand?” He asks.
