Dart, the gifted prodigy with a great destiny.
Pouncer, the handsome sporty flier.And then there was Ruff. The one no one paid attention to. The invisible one.
The one who is sent to a boarding school for 'troubled and difficult dragonets.'
Ruff wasn't bad... He was just... Impulsive. Clumsy. Reckless. Loud. Curious. Easily bored and distracted. A kleptomaniac.....
He supposed this is why he was landed in front of the stone archway entrance of Tempest Prep. Where the dragons with problems went.
He hated it already.

Tommy forced his way into Grian’s life the same way Tommy did to everyone else. Literally and with a bony elbow in his side.
“See, sir?” A child (and those were not allowed this close to the arena) weaseled his way in between Grian’s arm and his torso. “Told you I was with my dad.”
Grian simply stared at the child, the Mod the kid was evidently running from looking between them dubiously.
The kid elbowed him. Hard.
“Had him young.” Grian wheezed as his kidney wept.
Or.
Grian feeds Tommy once and is stuck with him forever. Not that Grian minds.Series

There was definitely a sense of rarity around it, but everyone knew someone who knew someone who had it. It was just common enough to lurk in people’s mind, but not effect their day to day goings about.
