Summary
Ilya, a hockey alpha, is forced by league rules to choose an omega partner and rejects all the easy candidates. Under the Omega Player Initiative, elite omegas had been welcome – encouraged even – to declare for the draft. Crowell's initiative had gone from being lauded as groundbreaking eight years ago to now being threatened with legal action.
When he learns that Shane Hollander is an omega, Crowell is determined to make an example out of him. And so when some random beta who is part of the MLH's PR department gets very turned on while standing outside of a hotel room door listening to Shane and Ilya doing "things" and comes up with a morally questionable idea, Crowell, well being Crowell, runs with it.
Major League Hockey is now in the reality televisoin business. Welcome to "The Taming of the Omega" where the entire world is invited to watch Captain Ilya Rozanov tame former Metro Shane Hollander into a good omega. Clearly this is the best idea ever, and nothing will go wrong. Right?

“He was giving CPR in there. Told me to take the kid first.”
