Summary
The hero industry had a double-standard for females. To some it was no surprise. Part of the job was the need to prove their strength and worth as a fighter, but part of it demanded beauty and grace as they were kicking ass. Worse, male pro-heroes were still making more than female pro-heroes. Females also had to be careful of their love lives. Even if a female pro-hero wanted to enjoy a healthy sex life, she’d better keep it on the down low before the media labels her a slut or a whore. Judgement was passed out all around and Ochako was naive to this toxicity while attending UA. Once she turned 18 however, her and her classmates entered a world that worshiped boobs, ass, and youth. Stick those things on a sexy fighter -- oh, watch out! Ochako had a powerful quirk and the looks to boot; soon she found her way soaring to the top in popularity for both women and men.
