The author was worried and rightfully so. The pregnancy test stayed at the bottom of the sink. Two red marks. A positive. A yes, for a new life to live inside him. It was incredibly unlikely, from how incredibly less fertile the author was, and how careful he and his husband were, but he knew from how rough Ranpo goes on him from time to time—“This was going to happen one day, wouldn't it? The times would have lined up into this.”
