Summary
The world tilts for a moment, dizzying—his breath comes in sharp bursts as he tries to break free, but there’s no escaping Fernando’s hold. His hands are everywhere—grabbing, pulling. Jarno’s heart is racing, but not from the fight, not from the struggle. It’s something else, something worse.
“Fernando—stop!” Jarno shouts, but it’s too late.
Without warning, Fernando’s mouth opens, and Jarno sees them.
Fangs.
Sharp, glinting in the dim light, inches from his throat. And before Jarno can react, Fernando lunges.

Summary
Jarno felt his stomach twist. He hated this—hated him—hated the way Fernando could look at him like this was just another normal conversation, like nothing wrong had happened.
"I gave everything to that team," he went on, voice rising. “And the second they decided I wasn’t useful, they fucking discarded me.”
And still, still, Fernando didn’t react.
Jarno wanted to grab him, shake him, force him to say something. His pulse was hammering in his throat, breath coming uneven, the anger bubbling up hotter, faster.
"You think they wanted to keep you after your performances last season?"

Summary
Everybody.
Loves a winner.
So why was it so hard to like him?
The irritating, short, Italian man was impossible to enjoy being around.
And it’s not like he was even trying to be annoying. Nikola just could not deal with him.
