He’s not seeing the picture and he’s frustrated with all the talking in code. They need to lay it out for him so he can leave.
“Please paint that picture for me then. I’m still on call.”
She sighs. “Think about it. This person has extensive fire knowledge, the ability to run into a burning building, CPR knowledge and a massive hero complex. Between the methodology and opportunity, Captain, I believe that a firefighter is our suspect.”
He stares. That’s idiotic. Why would a firefighter do the opposite of their jobs? They save people. They aren’t killers.
He puts together the case and his presence. His mild irritation sparks into intense levels of rage and indignation.
He glares at Voight, voice increasing in volume. “Did you seriously bring me in as a suspect?”

He’d like to know that too. He’s tired of being in the dark. Sylvie’s the woman he loves. They practically live together. He wants definitives. He knows she lost blood, but no one’s told him how much or from where.
“I’m going to find a doctor,” Matt says.
“Casey, you can’t go back there,” Boden says.
