Summary
There once was a promising Scepter—a neuron of Nous—tasked with a seemingly impossible endeavour for a machine: to calculate, not to feel or resolve, nor to emulate, but to calculate the Prime Mover of Life. It is said that, had it succeeded, organic lifeforms could no longer claim any semblance of superiority over inorganic ones. Nous THEMSELVES blessed the research and made the Scepter one of THEIR neurons, awaiting the result of the most complex calculation yet.
But what if the answer the Scepter arrived at was as irrational as Life itself?
This is just part one of my take on what lead to Irontomb's creation. Machines can't become a "bottomless well of rage" and I hated that part of Lygus' diatribes in 3.4, so I'm pretending that explanation is just Lygus being delulu.

Summary
Mister Graves, a tormented man with little to say, and someone so pathetic who can't even remember his children's names. One day, he has to walk his children back home from school, and after talking with them for hours, something awakens within him. A person? A heart? Something more than what he was before. He struggles with to have emotional connections with anyone other than his wife, and that is not for a lack of trying. His wife's possessive nature over him makes it difficult to grow as a person. But there is something greater that triumphs over even his fear over her: His deep inner desire to be better. Will he be able to overcome his wife's possession over him? Or will he remain the dull, passive man that would lead to his greatest action being his inaction.
