Summary
Four days and three sleepless nights. That was how long it’d been since Catra left Bright Moon (and Adora) for a week-long mission, and also the longest time they’d spent apart since Horde Prime’s defeat. So when the mission wraps up early, they’re both anxious to reunite. But unfortunately, sleep-deprived and stressed, once they’re finally together they end up arguing. Again.

Summary
After the escape from Prime, Adora held Catra close each night as she cried; listening to her descriptions of nightmares, and trying her best to ground her to reality. After Prime’s defeat, Catra has a chance to return the favor.

In the week following Etheria’s victory, Adora struggles with an unknown threat to her magic, and she can’t seem to escape the eerie feeling of forgetting something important. Meanwhile, Catra struggles to believe she can keep her newfound shred of peace and happiness as she tries to find a home in Bright Moon. And the others strive to stay positive as the rebuilding efforts commence, even with the next set of challenges dawning on the horizon.
Concerningly, the planet itself whispers to Adora in her dreams. Maybe a warning, or maybe something else… Either way, she is determined to solve the problem so they can all finally recover from Prime in peace. But every end is also a beginning; and can anything ever truly be over if the scars still remain?

Summary
They stay that way for a long time, Catra’s face tucked into Adora’s shoulder, Adora gently cradling Catra’s head. Adora is careful not to hug Catra too hard or make her feel restrained, anticipating the moment that Catra will start to pull away — but Catra doesn’t. She hangs on so tightly it hurts, her claws digging through Adora’s jacket and into her back, latching into her like she did when she was a kitten and didn’t know how much her claws could hurt. Adora tries not to wince, tries not to move a single muscle, worried that if she does the spell will break and Catra will struggle away, appalled at having shown weakness.
But Catra doesn’t let go. And so neither does Adora.
