Naruto’s new at Konoha High, which means he’s still figuring out which coffee machine doesn’t taste like burnt socks and why the history teacher keeps looking at him like he’s a walking mistake.
The students are loud, the staffroom’s worse, and there’s something weirdly addictive about arguing with Sasuke Uchiha over lunch break thermoses and metaphysics.
No one talks about feelings here. They talk about deadlines, grading systems and whether sharing a cigarette counts as flirting.

Summary
Konoha isn’t necessarily the most trans-friendly town, and Naruto would be lying if he said he had any friends. Plus he has to go to middle school soon (seventh grade), which will only mess things up, because new school and new people plus teenage years aren’t exactly the best mix. His only friends (that he’s still struggling to see as that) Shikamaru and Choji introduce Naruto to someone like him and for the first time, Naruto feels seen.
But does it take all that to fall in love? What is love anyway? And what about the guy he hates (is highly jealous of and lowkey likes), who’s finally beggining to warm up to him?Or
