This is not a BDSM fic, though it's BDSM-tinged. Because they are fulfilling the bond of the enslavement potion, there is not meant to be negotiation. Harry maintains his personality in this. Snape is a bit harsher than in canon but mostly, imo, in character.
The romantic development is too fast-paced and not given enough time to develop, but an entertaining read anyhow. Pretty in-character if Harry is 0.5% brattier but Severus' past is not like in the books, though he is still a half-blood.

"Yeah." He shuffles his feet a bit, slips his hands in his pockets in such a familiar way that a pang of deep fondness strikes through your chest. "Last week," he adds.
It seems impossible that he would have been back in the country for days and you wouldn't have sensed it somehow. How could his presence not send shockwaves all the way to Spinner's End? How could you not know, in your heart of hearts, the instant that he returned?
