Summary
Jaskier's hazy gaze finds his own, eyes red-rimmed, before trailing over him. He smells of ale, and sadness, and deep seated pain, and still, familiarly, always, of oranges and musk.
"You must be real," he finally says. His words are slurred, but Geralt catches them easily—he's had years to learn to understand it, after all. "You don't usually show up in tit armor with chiseled-in abs."

“Don’t worry,” Yennefer said. “Geralt likes men too. We had a bit of fun with that. Oh, stop gaping at me. You look like an ugly fish.”
Jaskier was so jealous he could die. His jaw snapped open and shut, and he probably really did look like an ugly fish. Yennefer was usually right about these things. “I should have been one of those men you two had a bit of fun with,” he said through gritted teeth.
She considered this. “It was during the period of time when I still couldn’t stand you.”

Navigating the dating world when you can't see it can be tricky. For Crowley, that was never a problem; he's usually too busy to contemplate a relationship. The same goes for Aziraphale, though he doesn't have Crowley's excuse - he just isn't really all that much into people as a whole.
One chance meeting on Crowley's usual route home changes all that.
