Summary
The infamous Crows find themselves in deep trouble as they are on the run with a bounty on their them. The Merchants' Guild has put a price on their heads, forcing them to seek refuge in a safehouse where they hatch a plan to clear their names. As tensions rise and emotions run high, Jesper finds himself spiraling into a deep pit of despair due to unrequited feelings for his fellow Crows and self-deprecating thoughts.
Jesper's pain goes deeper than just the bullet wound in his side as he watches the others revel in their love for each other, and its hard to stand. He struggles to keep up with the group as they execute their plan, and his internal struggles threaten to tear them all apart.
When Jesper makes a desperate decision at his own expense, the Crows are thrown into the thick fog of chaos, unsure if they'll ever make it back out.
Will he find the courage to confess his love and accept the love of his fellow Crows, or will his struggles tear them apart?
OR: The Crows have got a big bounty on their head and hide out in a safehouse to plan. None of them are good with their feelings and Jesper gets really sad and does stupid things.

Summary
When Wylan heard and felt Kaz's steps and cane coming towards him, the pain and torment that was swimming in his mind became unbearable. He clenched his hands so hard they shook, and he felt waves of anger and fear course through him brutally.
Kaz approached slowly, so as not to startle the kid. He stopped a pace behind him and stood, his cane in his hands solemnly, and watched the waves.
“You aren’t supposed to be awake right now,” came Wylan’s voice, surprisingly strong, considering the tears on his face and the tremors of his frame.
Kaz smirked to himself. “Have you ever seen me sleep?”
Despite his state, Wylan rolled his eyes hard. He couldn’t feel his legs anymore, which, in the back of his mind, made what he intended to do so much easier. His head began to pound mercilessly.
Kaz stared at Wylan, listening carefully as the boy’s breathing rapidly increased. Kaz felt the bottom of his stomach drop and he took a deep, silent breath.
