Summary
Wylan has trouble making ends meet, so Kuwei and Jesper invite him into their home for a place to sleep at night. As the time goes by, Wylan gets closer and closer to the couple and starts to feel like he's infiltrating their relationship.
With the Kerch National Day Festival fast approaching, Wylan struggles to keep himself separated from Kuwei and Jesper while grappling with his growing feelings for them, while the couple tries their best to show that being more than friends is exactly what they've always wanted.

There was a difference in expectation between boys and girls, between men and women, in the Geldin District. Girls weren't raised to be heirs, they were raised to be suitable wives to other family's heirs — they were expected to be pretty, host parties the whole district would be talking about for weeks, and give their husbands an heir of their own. Their academics didn't matter much, their worth instead measured in art and beauty. And while Wylan couldn't say the corsets and bustles appealed to him (they seemed even more restrictive than his too tight waistcoat), he couldn't help but envy everything else.
