Olivia had been walking for a really, really long time. Hours, to be exact. It was still dark out. She wasn’t sure if it was supposed to be light by now— she wasn’t actually sure what time it was at all. She just wandered aimlessly through the streets, afraid to stop moving. She had this image in her head, like if she stopped moving, a bright red target would appear on her back— this one! This one here doesn’t have a goddamn clue where she’s going, what she’s doing!
So she kept walking, and she probably should’ve been tired by now, she probably should’ve been tired hours ago, but she wasn’t.
