The Works of Barbatos, God of Anemo by Ruca_1150
Fandom 原神 | Genshin Impact (Video Game)
17 May 2026
Summary
Welcome to a collection of the many works of Barbatos, the God of Anemo. These are short stories, sometimes less than 1k words, bringing to life the musical fondness that Lord Barbatos of Mondstadt carries in his heart- courtesy of his dear lyre plucking friend. Some entries will be scenes of canon events, others will be headcanon and others still are neither. Either way, these are the works of Barbatos, the thousand winds, who is acquainted with songs and poems that have been and that will be. Who is to say he hasn't heard of those that could be?

He sings about a little sprout, hidden in the shade by a tree that looks out for it while it’s growing. The end of the song is solemn, focusing on how the tree withers and is cut down, and tells the sprout to forget all about it.
Venti pauses.
