Rumi wasn't so lucky. Her parents died when she was young, people bullied her relentlessly, and her adopted parents lied and shamed her dreams. No one took the time to see HER just a quirkless nothing. So, she did just what they wanted, what they been telling her to do. However, she made sure they didn't come out unscathed.
Now she at Yuuei being 'helped.'

If this was a dream, it was too vivid. If it was a second chance, it was a heavy one.
His gaze returned to the mountain of trash bags. It was a monument to his life: piled up, rotting, ignored, and uselessly stinking up the place. He’d treated his existence like a hand of cards he was waiting to fold.
"Alright," he whispered to the empty, filthy room. "Fine."

“Yes, but Ijichi is here to pick up Yuji here-” Gojo pointed at Yuji, and he almost flinched, “to bring back to the Gojo estate because Yuji has just been married to the Gojo clan heir,” Gojo explained in a way that made him seem like he was talking to a three year old not a man older then him. So this was Satoru Gojo’s pompous arrogance. Wait… had he just said married? Yuji felt dizzy as he looked between them all for some kind of answer, though they were all ignoring him.
“Wrong. Yuji Itadori was just married to the Zenin clan heir.” Naobito argued, the slur in his voice making it apparent he had been drinking, was that why Yuji hadn’t seen him when he signed all that paperwork?
Paperwork.
“You don’t need to read the papers, Uraume’s already handled all of that, just sign.”
Yuji Itadori had never wanted to kill anyone as much as he wanted to kill his older half-brother right now.
“He married me off?” Yuji asked the group of people, his tone holding such offense that it felt like he was in one of those stupid soap operas. And they all looked at him, finally, realizing he knew even less than they did.
