Marinette sat on the couch in Adrien’s apartment, staring at him with her hands on her thighs and her back straight. Her gaze was locked on his as she waited for him to speak to her about his expectations, needs, and wants. Waiting to also speak about her own needs, wants, and expectations.
“I’m going to go over what I expect and need from you. You can tell me to slow down or go back. You can speak and ask me questions all you want. Okay?” Adrien played with the black leather band around his wrist.
“Okay.” Marinette swallowed hard and got lost in how beautiful and kind he was.
