Summary
Kinn feels strangely off-kilter, as he does sometimes around Porsche. He doesn’t understand how this is supposed to work some days. With Tawan, they were so fucking wrapped up in each other that sometimes it was difficult for Kinn to remember where Tawan ended and he started, except when he was off on business for Papa. He thought that was how relationships were supposed to be.
Porsche… does not agree. He hates it when Kinn vanishes for days on stupid missions for Korn, but when Kinn gets too wrapped up in him for too long, Porsche will pull back, make a little space for himself again. He’ll go spend the night with Chay or Jom, or meet Pete and Vegas, or arrange a mission for himself. “I need to do it,” he said, when Kinn asked.
I need you here with me, so close I could tuck myself into your pajamas, Kinn remembers thinking, but he had just agreed. The pajamas thing made it too weird to say out loud, and besides, he does the same thing. As much as he wants to, he can't expect Porsche to stay waiting in bed when Kinn takes off for two days with no notice to go to Phuket for Papa.
Or: Kinn does some thinking about his father and his relationship with Porsche post-canon.

He was losing it.
He'll be better in a few hours. Once he’d wrung dry whoever was unlucky enough – or if his past dalliances are to be believed, lucky – to be sent to please him for the evening. It wouldn’t last that long. It never did. Stamina was an issue with the men sent to him. Lasting hours wasn’t the norm to begin with, but Kinn had always possessed a ravenous appetite. It was rare to find a compatible bed mate.

When the Phoenix comes up to Kim at the gym and introduces himself as Porsche, it's only polite to reply. They're both in the fighting circuit after all.
One conversation leads to another and soon they're gossiping about their romantic lives.
Romantic lives being the rich dude who's been railing Porsche into next week and the cute guy that Kim can't help but want to spend more time with.
It's nice having a friend who doesn't know your brother.

Summary
Porsche Kittisawat, as a Jedi Knight, goes where he's sent. When he's assigned to protect Prince Anakinn Theerapanyakul, he expects the prince to be a spoiled brat and nothing else. Kinn is sure that his new bodyguard will be as dull and unwavering as the members of the Jedi Council. But the more time they spend together, the more they are drawn to one another.
Passion and attachment are forbidden to the Jedi.
