Rationally, Oikawa knows Tobio would rather die than cry in front of Oikawa and that this response is exclusively caused by those asshole researchers, but shit. Oikawa is an alpha! Tobio doesn't even hesitate. He lurches his body forward into Oikawa's arms, nose nudging perfectly over Oikawa's scent gland as they both breathe deep. The relaxation that follows is natural as they ease into the bed, and suddenly, Oikawa knows that whatever those researchers did will last longer than either of them are prepared for.
