Summary
For months, Sirius has been opening the door whenever Snivellus has knocked, and he doesn't know why. He hates it. Hates him. He tells himself that any warm body in his bed is better than a night alone, even if there's really only one person he's ever wanted to spend the nights with. Determined to end it, he tells Snape to stop coming around. Determined to keep it going, Snape offers secrets from the other side to "pay" for Sirius's services.
Some moments just aren't making sense to Sirius. Most notably, why is it that he's incapable of saying no? And what happens when he ends up on Remus's doorstep one evening after a particularly brutal encounter?
And can Regulus really help them end the war? -

Summary
Remus Lupin came up with a plan to finally kiss Sirius after years of wanting to do it and backing out at the last minute every single time, but he wasn't going to be the one to suggest that the Seventh Year Gryffindors play Spin the Bottle. He's always been good at leading people to the ideas he wants them to come to without ever outright telling them anything. And Mary? Well, Mary was the easy one. She also really wants to kiss Sirius, and Remus knows it. Getting her to come up with the idea was really too easy. Getting Sirius to actually play it is a lot harder. Hence the pot and the booze.
But Remus isn't sure any of it is actually a good idea. Sirius has specifically not kissed anyone despite his lack of options, after all. And what if being a werewolf is a dealbreaker? And when Mary forces the issue and Sirius bolts? Remus is absolutely certain it was all a bad idea. When he goes to apologize, he doesn't get the response he was expecting.

Summary
Regulus's bedroom at Number 12 Grimmauld Place is off-limits. Sirius has made sure that everyone knows that. He, however, has been drawn to the room across the hall from his own. He hasn't been able to open the door, but he can picture what it looks like on the other side. He remembers how Regulus always kept his room immaculately clean. Everything has a place and everything's in its place. When Sirius does finally open the door, he finds a letter that Regulus never sent, and it's addressed to him. That alone is enough to break him.

Summary
Remus is frustrated because Sirius made them run late on their way to the Potters for Christmas. As a result, it's getting late on the road, so Sirius suggests they stop for the night at a Bed and Breakfast he sees on the side of the road. Of course, there's only one room left as the place is packed with other holiday travelers. Of course, the room only has one bed. Sirius and Remus don't mind - it's not like they haven't shared a bed before. But... there's something about this time that changes everything. Maybe it's Remus's recent breakup that has him thinking about why none of his relationships ever work? Maybe it's Sirius's nightmare that wakes them both in the middle of the night? Maybe it's that unacknowledged thing that's always been there between them that finally demands to make itself known. How much can one night really change anyway?

Summary
After the fighting ends, the true battle is fought in the silence of Grimmauld Place. Sirius, Remus, and Regulus navigate the quiet, domestic aftermath of trauma, learning that true comfort is earned, not given. It’s found in a mug of tea, the gentle validation of a werewolf, and the discipline required to sharpen a dull knife. A story about rebuilding a broken family, overcoming the fear that happiness must be paid for, and the ultimate reward.
