Summary
It was not odd for a god to walk among mortals. While some worked in funeral parlors and others in libraries, the draconic god Neuvillette far preferred to remain firmly on the vast seas that were his domain. And while he'd hardly ever had trouble taking positions as an exceptionally good-fortuned quartermaster, he'd also never expected a human to poses the power to bind him away from his own authority, and take him as their prisoner.

The critter twirled around outside chittering happily as it smacked a clam against the glass that separated them. Wrio grinned at it, refraining from cooing at the small otter he’d started visiting every evening on his patrol.
He was about to start coaxing it into doing a trick when something lurking beyond his critter friend caught his eye. He stared out into the dark depths of the sea, and suddenly it was staring back.
