From across the field, darting between still standing allies and fallen enemies, Legolas Greenleaf rushes to his side, lifting his stalwart companion's head into his own lap. His eyes wide as they search the heavily armoured dwarf for signs of injury, gently removing the helmet that has been caked in blood, both dwarven and other.

Summary
This has been a rollercoaster of a year for Buck. Get broken up with, sister gets kidnapped, best friend moves away, move into his house, everyone thinks your in love with your straight best friend, almost lose your whole team in a explosion, lose the only father figure you’ve ever had, best friend abruptly moves back, and lastly move into a new place again. So of course the cherry on top comes via phone call or should I say olive on top because apparently that’s his daughter’s name.
