Summary
Canon-divergence that explores what changes when the conversation between Lan and Nynaeve isn't interrupted until just a little bit later in episode 4, and it takes her just a few moments longer to break through her block and channel in the cave to heal him. Shows how the relationship between the two might evolve if they were thrown together more quickly even than in show-canon, how that might affect character growth for each of them, and how that in turn could change the way they approach their roles in the fight against the Shadow through the remaining season 1 events adapted from EoTW and on. Set in the show-world, but incorporates book-world background (places, medicines, details on how various One Power things work, some characters that didn't make it into the show yet, etc.).
