Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.
The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.

“Zoey! You can’t just say something like that.” Rumi’s palm drags down her face, exasperation and fondness mixing across her features before she stares back at Mira.
Mira who is sitting on their bed. Her shorts are a pile on the floor somewhere, and Mira’s panties are still dangling by her ankle, the fabric rolled up to conveniently hide the damp center.
“Girls, please…,” Mira huffs, the skin surrounding her cheeks a flushed shade of pink from their casual tone while discussing such depravity. It looks good on her though, Rumi thinks as she places a hand on Mira’s knee, her thumb massaging soft circles at the crease of it. Mira’s eyes dart down at Rumi’s hands before they avert. It has Rumi smirking, smug at the desperation beginning to shine in Mira’s dilated eyes.
