Summary
After losing a game of poker to Sgt Duke Lukela, Steve finds himself as a 'probationary officer' on a routine HPD patrol for the day doing some good old-fashioned community policing. Of course, this is Steve and Five-0 and the patrol soon becomes anything but routine. Can Steve save himself and the other HPD officers before it is too late? How long will it take his team to realize that something is very wrong? Set at the end of Season 2 (2012), but in my new AU universe that I created in my first fanfic, A Different Path. This is a spin-out from that story but can also stand-alone. Some events at the end of Season 1 and early Season 2 have changed, but you don't need to read that story first, I will re-introduce any new characters as we go along.
