Coda to episode 10x14 which in my opinion is one of the best episode of the series even though it’s not a typical procedural episode and still leaves me with tears after years seeing it for the first time. Tears especially because there are so many parts missing like seeking for justice for the things having happened.
My story begins right after the end of Danny’s storyline with him leaving the accident site. -

I plan for this to be a series of one shot stories, taking place across the entire series, and afterwards, to follow Steve and Danny's relationship. And, because I'm me, I thought I'd start at the end of the series and work back to how it got here, if that makes sense:) if not, just bare me with, it (hopefully) will make sense!

~~~~~~~~~~The couple and their son, who was in a highchair between his parents, were having brunch at a little café in Honolulu that a Navy friend had recommended to the head of Five-O. Steve was enjoying a large plate of steak and eggs, while the profiler was eating a twist on the classic Eggs Benedict. John was chasing mushy peas around the tray in front of him, with his mother feeding him spoonfuls of carrot puree at random intervals. The baby had started on solids a couple of months ago. It was nice to be out together enjoying the sunshine as a family, sans the furry members of the household.

Summary
Fourth story time. The characters have been chatty and I am doing my best to listen to them and their demands. Story Three ended with a twist I’m sure a few of you saw coming, but there are going to be some interesting twists and turns in this story, too. I hope to keep you all guessing and I have two chapter ideas that my beta isn’t happy I’m doing, but Jacq told me what was going to happen. All I can do is put what she told me on the page. This story isn’t going to have any episodes I like from the series in it, per se. I’m drawing inspiration from a couple. Feedback is appreciated to keep me honest and to feed my soul.
