Unfortunately his quirk was good, very good and Inko wasn't about to let her son get taken away by her more and more abusive husband, even if it killed her.
And it did, but Izuku escaped and was now all alone in the world with nothing but the power to never leave his hiding spot. Getting more and more isolated and he shuts the world off from him besides the thin window provided by his puppets. Fortunately, there's a whole family who wants to take him in, now if only they could find the actual Izuku.

For three years, it seemed to go well. Loneliness hurt, but it kept his friends safe. So of course fate saw fit to throw a rock to disturb the water. Dealing with new people wouldn't be such a hassle if they weren't wearing the faces of those he knew had long passed and wanted something they had never wanted before.

It would be in the future, where heroes and villains now reside, that one of those descendants happened to be a quirkless young boy who got to experience the training of the greatest practitioner of Anything Goes Martial Arts, courtesy of his father and an old journal passed down for generations.
Perhaps, however, his father should have read the notes in the margins regarding certain springs in China.

Sophie has been living in a home for adults who have high intelligence on the magical school grounds where she attends in almost the middle of nowhere. Yet, what may seem like a good thing to other people who know about the school and housing is not actually what it really is. Sophie is constantly bullied and tormented by her other peers for being different from them. She is quite a rebel at heart but can be weak, physically, at times. Stemming from a child illness when she was really young, Sophie tends to get sick easily and can faint out of the blue. Being at this place is so miserable for her.
Outside of the school and her awful peers, she is friends with mysterious being by the name of Chan, who she met during a suicide attempt on a cliff near a seaside close to where she lives. Since their first meeting, Sophie has grown strongly on him and now does and will do anything to take care of her. Even if it means that he has to go against her peers in order to do so.
Even if it means showing what he truly is to the rest of her world. ...A monster.
