“Oh, n-no! I can make more for myself if you’re still hungry!” He could feel his muzzle and ears heat up slightly. His sister chuckled and thrusted her fork into the topmost pancake, holding it up in the air and allowing the syrup to fall to the pancake below. Not wolfing it down in an instant like she had been with each of the others, the syrup from earlier still on her muzzle. Jokingly, Surge pushed the pancake into Kit’s face.
“Aw~. You’re such a good little bro, you know that, right?” The tenrec laughed before moving her fork up slightly. “But what good is it if the chef doesn’t taste his own food? Here, try some!”

Kitsunami has been working hard for three months, counting the days before Surge returns from the mission Dr. Starline gave her. The day she's finally set to return is one of excitement, as the fennec fox prepares a welcome home breakfast.

“You still have a live wire between your teeth,” Kit hummed softly. The tenrec froze before quickly turning away from him and pulling the wire from between her teeth. Tugging at the wire, the fox was certain the tenrec unplugged it too. If only because she wanted to avoid a future scare and scolding from the fennec. ‘She really needs to stop chewing on wires for extra electricity. At this rate I might have to get her tested for pica.’

Summary
Azrael Taylor, formerly known as A, attempted suicide late into his studies at Wammy's House. On that day, Beyond Birthday was devastated. He wasn't allowed near the body and didn't even get a good look at his former best friend.
Five years later, Light Yagami had a mostly normal life. He couldn't recall what his life had been roughly five years earlier thanks to an unknown event in his past. But he stayed at the top of his grades and lived a peaceful life. Save for the weird stalker with raven colored hair and a really weird habit of slouching.

This is gonna be a long series that will go over the WHOLE story of Death Note with the addition of Beyond Birthday. The fics sorta jump around on the timeline, but I will put references on where the story is taking place within it. It will be slow to update and I might put it down for long periods of time.
