The customer shoves the phone between him and the box as he opens it, filming the cake and making very basic commentary about it. “Wowwww look at this guys. Someone’s birthday cake huh? It’s well done. Very nice. What's the flavor?”
“…Red velvet,” Gale replies a bit apprehensively.
This strange customer almost sings in delight at the mention of the flavor, “Red velvet is absolutely fucking peak. Based customer.”
“Based?” Gale whispers, exasperated.

Astarion is re-vamping his whole social media presence with amateur food reviews on Tiktok after one he did on the fly got popular.Gale is an ex-Celebrity chef, looking to get away from all celebrity bullshit running a small and quiet bakery, after a Lawsuit and a Divorce that very well still haunts him.
Having a loud Tiktoker come in and shove his phone in every corner of said bakery, is not the kind of paparazzi he was expecting.

Gale and Astarion hatch a plan to confront them, but decide to make it into a game on who can rally at least 2 of their other companions to their cause the fastest. Winner takes all!
