Summary
Midoriya Izuku was the sort of person who loved very easily. He had it in spades and dealt it freely, passing affection and wonder and awe to those around him.
In some worlds, such as this, these things are visible, in a way.
Soulmarks aren’t like soulmates. They don’t show a romantic perfect pair in a traditional sense or show two souls fated to be entwined. They’re painted marks where skin brushes skin, where one person loves the other. Sometimes soulmarks are reciprocated, a hug resulting in twin stripes down each person’s back. A handshake with palms painted in rainbows, shoulder and cheek stained as one leans on the other.
Soulmarks show a promise of love and affection, show admiration and emotional bonds. Between family, between partners, between friends. Some people are tapestries of everyone who has ever loved them, some people spread their colors far and wide. Others are pulled in and never let contact be a risk and walk with blank skin. But few people ever have no marks at all.
In which Izuku loves, and learns to be loved in return.

Summary
Midoriya Izuku was not made to be special. Not in any particular form, shape, size or function, it seemed. He didn’t need grandiose, didn’t need all the fame and fortune and riches that seemed so commonplace these days. He didn’t need to be all-powerful, all-knowing, a genius, or well known. And Izuku didn’t want to be greedy, or anything, but he would’ve liked to be special. Just a little bit. Not in a particularly self-absorbed way, but he would’ve liked just a little bit of the special that seemed to surround his peers on the daily. Just about everyone around him had so much special while he had… basically nothing. Maybe a couple hundred years ago, back when quirks weren’t a thing, he would have stood out in a crowd with his green curls, been special and unique for once in his life.
Knowing his luck, though, he probably would’ve ended up burned at the stake for witchcraft instead. That’s how they used to do it, back in the day, he’s pretty sure. With gingers. Green isn’t red but Izuku’s pretty sure it’s different enough to get him set on fire, back in the day.

Summary
In which Shimura Tenko grows up to become Kowasu, the Deconstruction Hero, unknowingly shaping the world around him as he goes. Featuring such changes as: Izuku developing a lot more self-confidence in himself as a child, the Todoroki kids getting themselves and their mother out from under Endeavor's control, Aizawa learning that having young fans might not be such a bad thing, and Yagi having three very determined family members supporting him during his final years as All Might. Oh, and All for One getting hit in the face with a child's shoe; that's a very important thing that happens.
