Summary
Slim is kinda homeless, broke and wanted by police so to make ends meet he takes odd under the table jobs around the country. While working one of these shit jobs slim runs into Ramsey. While Slim and Ramsey are at the event they are almost caught by police, but both men escape. Both now sustaining injuries with Ramsey getting shot in the leg, Alcatraz forced Slim to make sure the con-man didn't bleed out in an alley. Ramsey, with not many options, offers slim to be his bodyguard until his leg heals. Slim with even less options with not getting paid for his last job, accepts.

Summary
John Marston is ambushed by the Pinkertons and dies in 1911 after hunting down all his old gang members, not getting to finish the happy life with his family. Why then does he wake up in 1899 on Colter with Javier and Arthur rescuing him?
It seems fate, or a more malevolent force, has given John a second chance and now he has to live among his familial ghosts as he figures out how he can fix it this time. But, people are getting concerned by his new behaviour- what's there to expect from a 39 year mind in a 26 year old body? Or more importantly, what's there to expect from a hardened man forced to live next to everybody who betrayed him?
THIS IS JUST MY EXCUSE TO WRITE RDR 1 JOHN MARSTON, THE LOML. I wish the Van der Linde gang could have seen what a fucking force of nature he became- both as a mature man but also the fastest gunslinger in the west. Took down the rebellion in Mexico and all of Micah's gang in the mountains without batting an eye: he deserves MORE CREDIT.
I'm not sure where I'm going to go with this because it's been a while since I've played either game but I hate mischaracterising Marston. If anybody has any advice, let me know.
