    Heat spread across Ilya's face. His mouth fell open slightly. He let out a short, stuttered laugh of disbelief. This couldn't- he was straight, he wasn't-

    “Finally got you at your own game.” Shane's smirk widened to a smile, his hand clapping down on Ilya's shoulder to squeeze it slightly. For once in his life, Ilya was unable to find his voice.

    “Damn.” Shane laughed, jostling him a bit. “If I had known this was all it took to get you to shut the fuck up, I would have started flirting back years ago.”

    When old college friends Ilya and Shane show up to their mutual best friend's wedding, they are ready to fulfill their duties as bridesmen. Even after years of not seeing each other, they fall right back into their usual banter.

    Ilya loves to flirt with Shane. Shane loves to tell him to fuck off. It's a running a bit.     As his breathing turned rapid and labored, he felt the unmistakable presence of a foreign force pulling him through a closed door. He heard a lock. Before his mind could process the occurrence, he was suddenly enveloped - caught in the unyielding grip of two powerful arms - unforgivingly tight. He couldn’t see who, he could barely process where and why, but he felt himself shaking and his eyes burning and leaking raindrops on the shoulder of the force who squeezed tighter. Minutes passed, who knows how many, in complete silence other than the gasps coming from Shane as he sobbed. When he felt his heart reach a relatively normal pace, and the drumming in his ears quieted, he felt himself melt for a moment in the arms he still hadn’t recognized until he heard the voice. “Hollander, you are having panic attack.” Shane froze.
