As soon as Obi-Wan Kenobi received the news, he knew he could no longer be part of the Jedi Order. Therefore, he cowardly ran away from Anakin Skywalker, trying to think that this would be the best for the life of his former Padawan.
Or, Anakin Skywalker does not know what he did for his master to abandon the Jedi Order without any warning or farewell. However, four years later he may have his answer in the form of a small blonde puppy.

“He’s hungry,” Vader finally voices his thoughts after the lengthy period of silence when he was simply content to watch Obi-Wan handle Luke.
Obi-Wan can’t help but stare as Vader takes off his helmet, revealing unmarred skin save for the scar, the same handsome cut of his jaw, and unruly hair. It hurts to see harsh yellow eyes staring back at him instead of the soft blues he is used to.
He averts his gaze. He almost wishes Vader would put his helmet back on; it is easier not to think of him as Anakin that way.
“Feed him,” Vader says, pulling Obi-Wan's attention back to him.
