"I asked Dana to send you home," Langdon frowned.
Whitaker rubbed his eyes. "You didn't have to do that."
"Do you want me to talk to Robby?"
He shook his head quickly.Langdon nodded respectfully, and patted his shoulder. He wanted to follow Whitaker's wishes, but he knew Robby would just keep pushing him if no one stepped in. He rubbed a friendly, absent minded hand down Dennis's shoulder blades soothingly.
Langdon remembered when Robby did this to him every few shifts. He pushed him past his limits and rewarded him with "good job"s and "you handled today really well”s, as if he wasn't the one who made the day unbearable. Robby was a good doctor, and a great mentor, Langdon could freely admit. He had his favorites, though. And God, being his favorite was hell sometimes.

“What?”
“Normally, you’re in your torn Robin uniform or some casual clothes,” Dick informed him. “Never seen you all grown up. Didn’t realize my brain could be this creative when it wanted.”
The idea that had started to form in Jason’s head wasn’t a pretty one and some part of him was glad.
