Basically, while fighting a group of Hilichurls, Kaeya is pushed int one of the waypoints, which teleports him randomly to Inazuma against his will. He is immediantly taken into custody, to be broken out of by a certain Oni, to THEN be thrown around Inazuma like a broken puppet.

Summary
"I'm only on YOUR side, so you don't cheat" Diluc snarled. Kaeya never did well in high temperatures, but didn't really argue with it. He was closer to his brother. It may of not been the best of solutions, due to him only being there to melt his cryo if he dared to cheat.
So, when Jean through the shuttlecock into the sky and hit it with her bat, the game began. Jean and Klee VS Kaeya and Venti. Diluc only being on Kaeya's side just to melt any cryo to prevnt cheating.

--- --- ---After lots of beggingand convincing Jean and others, the knights get a single day to a couple days off work to cool offand relax. And Lisa brings up an old badminton in a storage clorset that they could use to chill. They even get a certain red head.

The damage done to Mondstadt by Dvalin’s winds were more severe and Diluc returned to the city after helping the Traveler to find that there was structural damage to parts of the city, including the windmills. Diluc also finds out that Kaeya had been hit by debris from one of the windmills and knocked unconscious.
