"She watched as his tall frame moved around the kitchen, and for the hundredth time, she wondered how. How could he do this…talk to her, cook for her, move through the world like he belonged in it? Andrew seemed to defy every known law of what a ghost should be capable of, though, to be fair, her only references were Ghostbusters and a handful of horror movies.
For a while, she had convinced herself he was a hallucination, that maybe she had developed schizophrenia or some kind of stress-induced disorder.
