   Summary

   Alphas were hard to come by these days — behaved ones even more so.

   The dynamic had dwindled in more ways than just numbers: their sanity, their humanity, and much more. All that remained was a savage, instinct-addled beast that snarled and fucked as it pleased. Terror reigned in the streets before drastic action was taken.

   In more civil eras, alphas were bred in high-end kennels for certain temperaments. Omegas now purchased alphas to help them through their heats, but only those could afford it. The rest were left to suffer on fake knots and pheromone sprays.

   Erwin’s old money. It’s not a problem at all for him to snap up a new release from a popular breeder. Of course, he has to brag about it a bit.
