Summary

Summary
"You have two choices: Allow Burgundy to embrace you or England to kill you."
Based on the 1999 miniseries on her life, Jeanne d'Arc is betrayed by her king and allowed to be held captive by Burgundian forces. Madame de Beaurevoir, as well as the son of Duke Philip, plead with Jeanne to abandon the French cause and instead pledge herself to the cause of Burgundian independence. When her saints tell her that God has turned from Charles due to his moral failings, Jeanne throws in her lot with Burgundy. But can the maid turn her beloved comrades and give Duke Philip the crown he desires?
