Summary
Tendou meets Akaashi during a national tournament. He has a weird feeling that he should befriend him, and his instincts have never led him astray before. Akaashi sees a lot of himself in Tendou and wants to get to know him in hopes that he can find that same free spirit. They develop a friendship after discovering how much they have in common. One of those commonalities being their feelings for their captains, even if Tendou is a little slow on the uptake of that one (like ridiculously slow).
The funny thing is that they also have the same jersey number! And down the line, they just so happen to befriend someone else with that same number (who has plenty of oddities of his own).

Summary
A fresh drink was put in front of Konoha as he recalled the day roughly 13 years ago when he, Bokuto, and the rest of their class graduated. As soon as they all had their diplomas, Bokuto pulled a giant bouquet out of his ass and announced to all the people around him that he was gonna sweep Akaashi off his feet and ask him out. Konoha wanted to tell him that Akaashi’s allergies would act up, but Bokuto was already rushing away.
“Konoha-san?”
He whirled around to see the man he was just thinking about in the flesh. He looked more beautiful than the last time they met up, but that was something he thought every time they were face to face. And much like every other time, his eyes briefly flickered down to his left ring finger.
Only this time instead of the gold band, Konoha saw a faint tan line where the ring had sat for the past 8 years.
AKA 31 year old Konoha always kinda thought of Akaashi-now technically also a Bokuto-as ‘the one who got away.’ After making a too-quick assumption and drunkenly kissing him when they run into each other, Konoha finds himself undergoing an unfortunate series of events that led him to getting in a fistfight with Bokuto. (Happy birthday akaashi!)

Summary
Akaashi is an omega, which is something he likes to think he has come to terms with. What he is struggling to come to wrap his head around, however, is his beta best friend (and love of his life) Bokuto beginning to show signs of going into a rut, which would make him an alpha. Maybe this is what will finally catalyze their relationship into becoming romantic.

Summary
Bokuto waited to graduate before confessing to Akaashi. There was a small part of him that planned it that way because they wouldn’t have to constantly see each other if he got his ass rejected. The larger reason for doing it at his graduation was that he could lock down the man of his dreams so people wouldn’t make any moves on him during the year they were apart before Akaashi joined him in college.
Unfortunately, most people did not get the memo that they were very much in love and committed to each other.

Summary
When Washio's little brother, Minoru, sees Akaashi for the first time while watching one of his brother's games, he is entranced. As time passes, his feelings grow and his commitment to them become problematic, especially when he begins to feel hostile towards Bokuto, seeing him as a threat.
When Akaashi starts to notice signs of being followed and stalked, he panics. Bokuto is at a loss for what to do, but he will make sure Akaashi stays safe no matter what happens. He's stuck at uni for most of the time which means that he isn't there to quell the fears of his increasingly paranoid boyfriend, but they find ways to make it work.
